PERFORMANCE LEVELS

*Studio Directors determine the level of each dancer based on the following criteria. Please check level placement of all dancers.
Open Call Division – This division is for beginner performer who take 3 or less hours of instruction per week and has limited or no competition experience. Open Call  performers may compete in no more than 5 routines. NO Super Star dancers may compete in this division.
Future Star Division – This division is for intermediate performer who take 5 or less hours of instruction per week. A performer in this division may compete in no more than 8 routines. Future Star performers are eligible to compete in both the Shooting Star and All Star divisions.
Superstar Division – This division is for advanced performer who take 5 or more hours of class per week. A performer in this division may compete no more than 3 solos.
Routine Placement – All solos must compete in the level the performer is placed. Duos/Trios compete in the most advanced level of any dancer registered in that routine. Small Group, Large Group and Line levels are determined by the performance level of 51% of the dancers. In a Production no more than 25% of the dancers registered can be in a higher level.
