VOCAL CATEGORIES

 (Vocalists are strongly encouraged to choose age appropriate songs)
Broadway Ballad - A song that is classified as a slow tempo ballad from a Broadway show or movie musical .
Broadway Uptempo A song that is classified as a moderate to fast uptempo composition from a Broadway show or movie musical .
Concert Ballad - A song (not from a musical) that is classified as a ballad
Concert Uptempo - A song (not from a musical) that is classified as a moderate to fast uptempo composition
Open (Vocal) - A mix of any of the above styles.  All styles accepted
Song and Dance - A dance routine with live vocal.  Will be judged 50% on dance and 50% vocal
Broadway Group or Production.  An act from a broadway show or musical with live vocals.
